Dear colleagues in Asia,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 14th Asian Society for Neuro-Oncology (ASNO) Meeting. The meeting will be held Sunday 29th to Tuesday 31st October 2017 at Congrès Convention Center in Osaka, Japan. Since 1975, when the 1st International Conference was held in Kumamoto, Japan, this Meeting has continuously developed to an important forum to discuss and evaluate developments in basic, translational, and clinical neuro-oncology in Asian countries. This is the third occasion for the Japanese society to organize this Meeting.

Along with invited international faculty, Asian faculty will contribute to a comprehensive program that will cover topics including cell biology, pathology, genetics, pharmacology, radiology, surgery as well as updates on novel therapies related with brain tumor management. We believe your participation will contribute significantly to the success of the Meeting and will provide a great opportunity of interaction and communication among clinical oncologists who take care of cancer patients and basic science researchers in countries of Asia Pacific region and other parts of the world.

Osaka is the second biggest city in Japan, and you can enjoy short trip from there to world-famous cities of Kyoto, Nara and Kobe. Congrès Convention Center is a beautifully innovated convention hall, and only minutes to the Osaka station, which is connected with Kansai International Airport by train, as well as many shopping precincts and eateries around the venue.

On behalf of the Organising Committee we look forward to seeing you at the ASNO Meeting in October.
